RESIDENTS in Exminster have criticised a dangerous ‘prank after youngsters place a series of bricks across a road.
Several house bricks were placed in a line across the bottom of Milbury Close in the village on Saturday evening.
Several residents living nearby managed to remove the bricks but they were soon replaced.
One resident moved them finally before any damage was caused or and accident happened.
Children were said to have been responsible.
It was reported the ‘little kids’ just put the bricks back on the road after they were removed initially.
One resident said: ‘We moved the bricks off the road again and had a quiet word with some slightly guilty looking youngsters.
‘Hopefully, they might think twice next time they're tempted to prank on the road.’
The incident in the 30mph speed limit road prompted criticism as it was described as ‘downright dangerous’.
One said: ‘It could seriously hurt someone with the way cars drive down there.
‘It’s frustrating that some kids think they’re funny when actually all they are doing is potentially hurting someone or causing damage.’
