IT is the end of an era this afternoon, Friday, April 25, as demolition of the facade of the former Launa Windows building at Bradley Lane gets underway.

Contractors began work to demolish the facade just after 1pm.

The demolition of the Launa Windows building marks the end of the wider demolition of the Newton Abbot site.

The site has been earmarked for housing by Teignbridge District Council.
