ALIENS joined the traditional Christmas Nativity at Kingsteignton School this year.

‘Christmas With The Aliens’ was performed for friends and families at the town’s United Reformed Church Chapel.

In the story beings from outer space find themselves stranded on Earth, when the youngsters they come across invite them to a nativity play.

Principal Dr Penny Fitch said: ‘So amazing do the visitors find the story that they go on to spread the word throughout the galaxy and far beyond.

‘It’s a wonderful retelling of the Christmas story and one the children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in.

‘They worked hard to learn their parts and put on two great performances in front of delighted audiences.

‘It was a great way to mark the end of term and to really get into the festive spirit. Well done to all involved and our thanks to minister Phil Nevard for the use of the lovely URC Chapel.’
