A YOUNG woman was taken to hospital after falling over at a Newton Abbot nightclub over the weekend.

The 22-year-old casualty suffered a knee injury in the tumble at Bar 7 in Market Street.

Paramedics were called to the venue late on Saturday night.

She was taken to Torbay Hospital for treatment.
