A Vehicle was damaged in a fire at Ipplepen this morning (Tuesday).
Fire control was notified of the vehicle fire just before 11.30am.
A spokesperson said: ’Fire control immediately mobilised a crew alongside a water carrier both from Torquay.
‘On arrival crews confirmed a vehicle to be on fire on a public highway and got to work to tackle the fire.
‘A short while later crews stood down the water carrier and confirmed the fire to be now out.
‘Crews used one hose reel jet, one thermal imaging camera and small tools for this incident which was believed to be caused accidentally.’
The fire was limited to 30 per cent of the vehicle.
