POLICE in Teignmouth have reunited the runaway rabbit with its owner.

Police found the runaway rabbit in New Road in Teignmouth in the early hours of Saturday.

A police spokesman has since said: 'Runaway rabbit and owners have been reunited.

‘Bugs’, as he was dubbed by local officers, has been returned home.

Bugs had been taken to Teignmouth Police Station, where the rabbit was 'enjoying some fine hospitality.’
