A LAND ROVER towing a trailer with livestock in it has overturned on the A38, causing severe delays for motorists.

Police were called to Harcombe Bends, just before Haldon Hill, at 8.35am this morning where both lanes were blocked and traffic was at a standstill.

There are no reports of injuries to the driver or the animals and motorists are advised to avoid the area until recovery is complete.
