THREE people have been charged this week in connection with an alleged weekend assault on a young woman on the Buckland estate in Newton Abbot.

Katie Wills, aged 27, of Howards Way, Newton Abbot, has been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm, robbery, possession of a Class B controlled drug and possessing a weapon for the discharge of electricity.

Terry Sneap, aged 29, of Darran Road, Kingsteignton, has been charged with robbery, assault causing actual bodily harm, possession of a firearm whilst committing robbery and producing a Class B controlled drug.

Scott Dore, aged 26, of Queensway, Newton Abbot, has been charged with robbery and assault causing actual bodily harm.

All three were due to appear before Plymouth Magistrates today (wed) after the woman was attacked in Grenville Close last Saturday night.
