A REFUSE truck caught fire in Coombeshead Road, Kingsteignton this afternoon (Tuesday).

Fire Control received a call reporting a refuse truck on fire

Two appliances from Newton Abbot and a water carrier from Torquay were sent to this incident at 12.39pm

On arrival crews confirmed a fire between the cab and main body of the vehicle and put out the fire using two breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera and environmental protection equipment.
