TWO adults and two children had to be cut free from their vehicles after a crash on the A38 yesterday evening (Thursday).

Fire control reports it received multiple calls regarding the collision on the A38 near Chudleigh shortly after 4.15pm.

A spokesperson said: ‘This was a two vehicle RTC where four casualties were trapped.

‘Crews stabilised both the vehicles.

‘One adult casualty was removed from one vehicle, and one adult and two children were released from the second vehicle. 

‘Crews used hydraulic rescue equipment, lighting and small tools. Police and Ambulance also attended.’

Fire crews from Bovey Tracey, Danes Castle and Middlemoor dealt with the crash.
