EXETER Chiefs wing Claudia Moloney-MacDonald was the star of the show as England returned to winning ways with a 55-12 victory over the United States in New Jersey.
Named player of the match, Moloney-MacDonald crossed for four tries as the Red Roses bounced back from successive defeats against Canada to finish their WXV Global Series campaign on a high.
The winger struck twice inside the opening 12 minutes, alongside scores from Meg Jones, Emma Venner, Bryony Field, Maddie Feaunati and Sadia Kabeya also crossed, with Zoe Harrison adding three conversions and Holly Aitchison two.
The sixth-ranked Americans refused to buckle – Exeter’s Hope Rogers and former Chiefs favourite Kate Zackary replying, the latter scoring with the final play of the match.
Moloney-MacDonald said: “We spoke a lot about being fearless tonight, and I think that's exactly what we did. We attacked the game from minute zero to minute 80 and I'm incredibly proud of the girls.”
