FOR the majority of teams in the South West Peninsula League, the weekend came and went without any football once again.
In the only game to go ahead in the Premier East, the first to take place since January 17, Teignmouth AFC travelled to Middlezoy Rovers.
With the conditions perhaps playing a part, the two sides played out a 0-0 draw at the Ethan Berry Pavilion.
The Premier West weren’t much luckier with only two fixtures surviving the storms. Sticker and Millbrook shared the spoils whilst Penzance edged out Holsworthy by one goal to nil at Penlee Park.
Newton Abbot Spurs were scheduled to welcome to Ilfracombe Town to The Rec and Bovey Tracey AFC were heading for Torrington AFC but both of these games were non-starters.
If they survive, Spurs visit Cullompton Rangers this weekend with Bovey and Teignmouth in league cup action against Liskeard Athletic and Penzance respectively.
