JAMES Moxon leads the way for Teignbridge teams in the Peninsula Premier East goalscoring charts, which were updated yesterday.

The Newton Abbot Spurs striker has scored 20 goals in 24 games in all competitions – which is good enough for fifth place in the Golden Boot race.

Marc Revell’s side also have representation in the top 25 in the form of Gav Collins (15 goals), Owen Green (13) and Will Hancox (11).

Elsewhere, Bovey Tracey’s resurgence has seen Lewis Perring rise the ranks. The former Watts Blake Bearne attacker has an impressive return of 15 goals from just 11 games.

He sits 15th in the standings, potentially just one good game away from breaking into a highly congested top 10.

Torpoint Athletic dominate at the front of the running, with Curtis Damerell (30) and Ryan Richards (24) sandwiching Elmore’s Lewis Hill in the top three.

Luke Mortimore (Okehampton Argyle, 20), Moxon, Marcus Fanson (Sidmouth Town, 18), Cole Harford (Brixham, 18), Sam Stapleton (Crediton United, 18), Theo Ramsey (Plymouth Marjon, 18) and Charlie Wilson (Axminster Town, 17) complete the top 10.
