SHALDON Bowling Club have just completed another successful season for all the club teams.

The men’s A-team clinched a competitive finish in winning the Mid Devon Premiership League.

Meanwhile, the men’s B-team won the Mid Devon League Two, gaining promotion back to Division One. This was achieved by winning every game played and with a 38-point advantage over the second-placed team.

Also enjoying success were the men’s team that won the Bowls Devon Foxlands Trophy, defeating the United Services side.

There were also seven Shaldon men in the Devon team this year who won the Bowls England Middleton Cup competition.

The ladies team won the South Devon Ladies Bowls Division Five, gaining promotion back to Division Four. They also reached the section final of the Grace Matthews trophy.
