Alexandra Tarrant, from Bovey Tracey, bagged silver and bronze medals in the UK Dressage Championships on her 13.2hh Palomino pony Spartacus.

The silver was secured in the adult preliminary class, which was a remarkable achievement since Alex has only been riding for two-and-a-half years and only turned 10 years old in December.

She took bronze in the U16 category of the preliminary class despite her pony having a meltdown and putting in two massive bucks in the middle of one of the tests.
