A VITAL Teignmouth youth club is open again, writes John Ware.

The Eastcliff Centre closed after the collapse of the Teignmouth Community Association and the folding of the youth inclusion project last year.

'We are delighted to be able to use the Eastcliff premises, and look forward to continuing to support young people in the area,' said John Smith, from Devon Youth Service.

'Our clubs are safe, fun places for young people to be and we work alongside them to provide positive things to do, and help them with the choices they make in life.

'We have access to superb outdoor education facilities, with trips, including kayaking, caving, climbing, mountain biking – the list is endless.
