DRIVERS across Teignbridge have been warned to take care this evening into tomorrow morning as the Met Office has issued a Yellow Alert for fog and freezing fog.

The Yellow Warning covers from 4pm this evening (Monday) until 11am tomorrow.

A spokesperson for the Met Office said: ‘Fog and freezing fog will persist and become more widespread Monday evening, lasting into Tuesday morning.

‘The visibility is likely to be less than 100m in places leading to difficult driving conditions and some disruption to transport. The odd icy stretch is also possible.’
