Mark Alan James, aged 26, of Drake Road, Newton Abbot Buckland, admitted he rode a motorbike while over the drug-drive limit. The amount of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) – 4.8 ug/l – in his blood exceeded the limit.

South and West Devon Magistrates' Court banned him for a year and fined him £120. He must also pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and £34 to fund victim services.
