Teignmouth Arts Action Group will be presenting an important community exhibition, Our Beautiful Planet, at its Northumberland Place base early in the new year.

It will celebrate the local community’s work towards a greener planet, and link to the International Earthhour event on March 19.

The exhibition will be from January 30 to February 12, with performances on the opening night by the community choir, Teignmouth Poetry Society, and Robin Brown and band.

It will be a chance to find out what the local authority, businesses and organisations do every day to conserve and preserve and demonstrate how residents can become involved as well.

Contributors will include Morrisons, Waitrose Art Collective, Devon Contract Waste, Camphill Community, and Carbon Visuals.
