A TWO night stay at a popular Dawlish hotel is up for grabs as part of a local businesswoman’s fundraiser for a Cyprus-based dog rehoming charity.
Chrissy Marks of Signature Hair and Beauty has been raising money for Saving Pound Dogs Cyprus (SPDC) for several years.
This year, Chrissy has set up a raffle to help drum up funds for SPDC, a non-profit organisation dedicated to rescuing and rehoming stray dogs to loving homes in the UK, Cyprus and Germany.
Chrissy has teamed up with Ian Scott of the Lyme Bay House Hotel to offer a two-night, mid-week stay in October or November.
Chrissy has supported SPDC since adopting then nine-year-old Macauley in 2021.
Sadly, Macauley passed away in February.
Chrissy’s latest fundraising efforts are both in memory of Macauley, but also in response to the ongoing turmoil in the Middle East.
‘We have just rescued another dog from SPDC called Jack, who’s seven-years-old’, Chrissy said.
Tickets are available from Chrissy’s salon - Signature Hair and Beauty at 7 Queen Street, Dawlish, EX7 9HB.
