Get ready for the ride of your life – the smash hit musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert has exploded on to the stage at Torquay’s Princess Theatre.

Based on the film of the same name, David Ian Productions and The Ambassador Group’s production of Priscilla tells the heartwarming and uplifting story of three friends who travel across the Australian outback in a fabulous old bus in search of love and friendship.

The three lead roles are played by boyband Blue singer Duncan James taking the role of Tick (Mitzi), Simon Green as the sophisticated Bernadette, and Adam Bailey as the outrageous Adam (Felicia).

All three are superbly cast and are supported by an incredible ensemble of singers and dancers.

It is easy to see how Priscilla has bagged numerous awards with its flamboyant costumes and wigs, a score of well-loved dancefloor fillers such as I Will Survive, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and Boogie Wonderland to name but a few, which all combine together to make this dazzling and hilarious show a modern day classic.

Priscilla Queen of the Desert continues its run at the Princess Theatre until Saturday.
