Agnes the cat has been making herself at home in a Teignmouth shop – on the newspaper stand.

She has a favourite shelf which is just purrfect at the Spar store in Higher Coombe Drive, and loves to climb up and just sit there watching the world go by.

Manager Barry Walmsley said she had taken to ­wandering in lately, and perching on a pile of a particular newspaper.
