POPULAR local author Marcia Willett will be meeting her readers and signing some of her books at Kingsteignton Library later this month.

Many of Marcia’s novels are set in the West Country and on Tuesday, June 27 at 2.30pm, she will describe her life as an author and discuss her work including her latest book Seven Days in Summer.

The event is being staged by the Friends of Kingsteignton Library, and secretary Shirley Hickson said: ‘We are a small library in a growing town. This is just one of many fundraising events we are holding to improve facilities in our new extension.’

Tickets for the event are available from the library. The cost of £5 will include a cream tea with all proceeds going to the library.
