A PHILANThROPIST has donated £10,000 to be shared among smaller Teignmouth charitable and community groups.

He works and lives in the town, but wants to remain anonymous.

Cllr David Cox described it as 'a very generous gesture by a man who wants to give something back to the town he loves.
