David Douae and Suzanne Hitchcott, of Grafton Road, Newton Abbot, write:

Why have we a town council when they never listen to the people of Newton Abbot?

Why do we need another fuel station when Newton Abbot has enough?

Has the planning department been up and around Wolborough at a weekend when Asda is busy and where are 55 people going to park their vehicles?

Why don’t they just let Asda buy the houses in Grafton Road and knock down Berman Court then they can have their own way again.

As it is the residents in Berman Court has no parking for themselves and when repair men come they park down the side and stop people of Grafton Road getting out at the back of their houses. It is the same with the emergency vehicles.

Who ever passed the plans for Berman Court should be ashamed of themselves. It needs knocking down and rebuilt with a lot put right.
