STILL going strong - that was the Dawlish Celebrates Carnival Pram Race marking its 50th anniversary.
The milestone for the iconic event, which has been a highlight of carnival week in the town for many years, attracted a huge turnout.
The theme for this year was musicals and the route featured 17 stops, starting from the Lawn.
It took in town pubs and watering holes, taking in the special 50th anniversary stop at the bottom of Marine Parade.

As well as the traditional pubs, stops also included the Shaftesbury Theatre, Annies tea room, Dawlish Bowling Club and the Royal British Legion.
The first pram due to start the anniversary race this year was by the Farley family in recognition of their long involvement with Dawlish carnival and their reputation for ‘fantastically-built’ prams.
There were prizes for the best dress, fastest male, fastest female and fastest mixed teams.
