Sunday’s (November 29) local event, to persuade world powers to avert climate catastrophe, will climax at 3.30pm with South Devon participants congregating at Crockern Tor, near Two Bridges.
The aim of the exercise is for speakers at the location - the historic parliament for workers’ debate - to deliver a call to world leaders to take ‘urgent and ambitious action’ when they meet in Paris next month.
Among those involved in the campaign is 12-year-old Lily Bognuda who has been helping to co-ordinate the proceedings.
She has been constructing an almost life-size polar bear that will come on the journey to the parliament as an ambassador for a Shared Planet.
