A Teignmouth scout group may be forced to fold unless new committee members can be found.

The 100-year-old 4th Teignmouth group is in imminent danger of closing without new blood to take on the roles of chairman and treasurer.

The current committee has been in post for more than five years and will be standing down at the annual meeting next month.

Fundraiser and committee member Geoff Rose explained: 'We need a treasurer and chairman to carry on and these are key roles on the committee.

'After five years in the posts, they no longer have children in the scouts.
