THE famous Morgan Giles boatyard at Teignmouth will be commemorated in a special exhibition at the town's museum.

It will celebrate the people and the work they produced from 1921 until 1968, when it closed and the riverside site developed with flats.

On display at the heritage centre from March 8 to April 5 (except Sundays and Mondays) will be plans from pre-1914 days, to racing yachts in the 1920s and 30s, and luxury motor cruisers in the 1950s and 1960s.
