HIGH TECH digital screens sited at key locations around Teignmouth and Shaldon area will act as virtual noticeboards and provide up-to-the-minute information on local events, organisations and charities. The project is one of only three in the UK – the others are in Scotland – and is being closely monitored by other interested towns across Devon and further afield. Any non-commercial info will be eligible to be fed into the system free of charge, and the screens will be operating day and night. They are due to be up-and-running on June 1.
