BISHOPSTEIGNTON residents still have strong concerns about the implications of the proposed Teignbridge Local Plan on development in the village and surrounding estuary area.
Members of the residents' association are investigating the impact of the plan, and preparing their comments, which are invited by Teignbridge Council up to December 19.
They are also liaising with other people and groups on both sides of the river to maintain the environment of the area, and to be aware of, and to respond to, undesirable planning applications.
The association is supporting Geralyn Arthurs, from Shaldon, in trying to gain Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty designation for the Teign estuary from Natural England.
