urators of the 2019 Doddiscombsleigh Art Show were spoilt for choice in creating a hall of frames for this year’s artists.

The bi-annual event was held at the Teign Valley community hall and raised funds for Doddiscombsleigh primary school. Professional artists were carefully selected from the area. A broad range of artistic styles, featuring occasional nods to the Devon landscape were on display last weekend.

Local artist Lucy Smerdon said: ‘I was delighted to exhibit at this year’s show alongside so many amazing artists from the South West, including the patron of this year’s event Lydia Corbett. The show has become a focal point for the region’s artists and the local community – it was a real pleasure to be involved’.

The event raised a staggering £22,500.
