THREE vehicle-activated speed cameras have been installed in Kingskerswell thanks to the persistent efforts of the parish council.

Cllr Wayne Dixon, who was instrumental in getting the cameras installed throughout the parish, said: ‘From the early stage I participated in forming speed watch through the village of Kingskerswell, this was the base to highlight the need for change.

‘The road to achieving the cameras was anything but easy.

‘Nevertheless persistence has paid off and we now have the product in place for the village.

‘The parish council are as ever pushing for the safety of its residents and has more improvements in the pipe line.’
