POLICE are appealing for information after a memorial bench and a youth shelter in a Bovey Tracey park were damaged in a suspected case of vandalism.

The incident happened at Mill Marsh Park, sometime between 6pm on Sunday, August 2, and 9am on Monday, August 3.

Officers from the Ashburton and Chudleigh Neighbourhood Police Team are investigating the damage and are asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity or has information about those responsible to come forward.

Police say even the smallest piece of information could assist their investigation.
