A GROUP of travellers are reported to have arrived at a Newton Abbot park.

Teignbridge Council confirmed it is aware of an unauthorised encampment at Sandringham Park in Buckland.

A spokesman said: ‘We are following the relevant legal process to remove the encampment.’

Travellers have previously used the park and there are reports of caravans in the area.
