PARKING enforcement officers in Teignmouth seemed to be 'stalking' certain car parks to book motorists, a councillor claimed on Tuesday.

Cllr James McMurray made the comment when town councillors raised concerns about the tactics of the officials.

He was not happy with the situation, and quoted the Quay Road car park being especially targeted with wardens sitting in their van waiting for motorists to slip up.

'They are targeting certain car parks near the town centre which residents use. I am uneasy with some of their methods.'
