RESPONSIBILITY for the Teignmouth fish quay – which is in line for a £1 million upgrade – will be passed to the town council.

Parts of the jetty have different ownerships – Teignbridge Council, South West Water, the Crown Estates and the Teign Fishermen and Watermen's Association – but has to come under one umbrella before the improvement scheme can be undertaken.
