TOGETHER with international support the people of Ukraine will come through this difficult time, Newton Abbot’s MP has said.

Ann Marie Morris said: ‘Ukraine Independence Day is an opportunity this year for us to once again commend the bravery of the Ukrainian people during the ongoing war, and express solidarity with all those who have been impacted.

‘Our brilliant local community have welcomed a significant number of Ukrainian refugees into their homes and I’d like to take this opportunity to also thank them for all the work they are doing in this regard.

‘Together with international support, the Ukrainian people will get through this difficult time, showing the resilience and fight that they have constantly displayed so far.’
