A TEIGNMOUTH man has been charged with possessing indecent pictures of children.

Mark Syms of Exeter Road also faces charges of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child. 

The 56-year-old is due to appear before magistrates on Wednesday, July 3.

Devon and Cornwall Police has confirmed he faces a total of three charges. 

He is charged with three counts of making indecent photographs of a child between 2022 and 2023; one count of possessing indecent photographs of a child and one count of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child between 2021 and 2023.
