RESULTS of drugs tests are awaited over the deaths of two young people in Teignmouth.
Toxicology analysis is being pursued as part of inquiries into the deaths of 23-year-old Danny Stannard and 30-year-old Sara Rushton.
Mr Stannard, who lived in Mill Lane, was found dead in a car parked at Haldon Crossroads outside the resort late in the afternoon of January 10.
Police have already said there were no suspicious circumstances.
Just eight days later Sara Rushton was found dead in a flat in Northumberland Place.
Police have said her death is being treated as ‘unexplained.’
Files on both deaths have been sent to South Devon Coroner Ian Arrow.
It is hoped the results of the toxicology tests will clarify the cause of death in each case.
Inquests will open to take formal evidence of identity once the test results are known in the next few weeks.
