Teignbridge's motorists will have 15 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a holdup of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that 15 closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• A38, from 9pm January 3 to 6am January 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 31 lane closure for structure maintenance.
• A30, from 9pm January 3 to 6am January 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Alphington to M5, junction 31 carriageway closure for structure maintenance, diversion via A377, Cowick Lane, Marsh Green Road West, Trusham Road, B3213 and A379, north for M5 and south for A38.
• A38, from 7pm January 5 to 6am January 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Kennford lane closure for barrier repairs.
• A38, from 7pm January 8 to 6am January 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Linhay to Goodstone lane closure for S278, junction improvement works. Minor local authority, junction closed, eastbound, traffic diverted via Goodstone junction. Westbound, traffic diverted via A38 westbound to Linhay and return to Goodstone to exit.
• A30, from 7pm January 8 to 5am January 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen lane closure for horticultural works.
• A30, from 8pm January 8 to 6am January 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Alphington to Fingle Glen - lane closure for structure maintenance works.
• A38, from 7pm January 10 to 6am January 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Dart Bridge lane closure for horticultural works.
• A38, from 7pm January 11 to 6am January 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Chudleigh Knighton lane closure for horticultural works.
• M5, from 9pm January 11 to 6am January 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 31 lane closure for structure maintenance.
• A30, from 9pm January 11 to 6am January 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Wobbly Wheel (A379) to M5, junction 31 carriageway closure for structure maintenance, diversion for M5 traffic via A379 to M5, junction 30, diversion for A30 traffic via A379 to the Devon Hotel, B3213, Trusham Road, Marsh Green Road West and A377 to Alphington junction.
• A38, from 7pm January 12 to 6am January 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Chudleigh lane closure for horticultural works.
• A38, from 7pm January 15 to 6am January 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Goodstone lane closure for horticultural works.
• A30, from 7pm January 15 to 6am January 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, South Tawton lane closure for drainage works.
• A38, from 7pm January 15 to 6am January 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A38 westbound, Dartbridge lane closure for structure maintenance.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
