A TALENTED teenager has made it through to the finals of a national competition.

Ellie Clarke, from Dawlish, will be singing her heart out at the O2 Indigo arena in London next weekend when she appears in the grand final of the TeenStar UK competition.

The 14-year-old will be following in the footsteps of local lad Luke Friend, who won the TeenStar final in 2013, went on to further success in the X Factor.
