RESIDENTS in Devon are being urged to join this year’s Big Garden Birdwatch
The world’s largest garden wildlife survey, RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch takes place each January.
Across the UK, more than 590,000 people took part in Big Garden Birdwatch 2025.
House Sparrows took the top spot, but counts of these birds are down by 60 per cent compared to the first Birdwatch in 1979.
Taking place from January 23 to 25, this year’s Big Garden Birdwatch.
The most spotted birds in 2025 were: House sparrow; Blue tit; Wood-pigeon; Starling and Blackbird.
