DON’T forget that firefighters in Dawlish will be raising money for a charity close to their hearts this weekend.

The crew from Dawlish Fire Station will be raising money for The Fire Fighters Charity on Saturday, May 30.

The Fire Fighters Charity offers specialist, lifelong support for members of the UK fire service.

Crew will be on hand at the town’s station off Oak Hill to wash cars from 10am until 2.30pm.

A spokesperson for the station said: ‘Bring along the whole family and we’re more than happy to show the kids around the fire engine and speak to you all about being an on-call firefighter.
