IT is hoped a childrens play park at a Newton Abbot supermarket will reopen soon.

The play park at Sainsbury’s in Newton Abbot has long been closed but the supermarket hopes it will open soon.

A Sainsbury’s spokesperson said, ‘We’ve been working hard to get the playground at our Newton Abbot store back up and running again, following some maintenance work that was needed.

‘We are hoping to have the playground open soon and apologise for any inconvenience caused.’
