STOVER Canal will be celebrating 225 years since the construction of the canal started with an open weekend tomorrow and Sunday, from 10am - 4pm, at Sibelco East Golds, Old Exeter Road, Kingsteignton.
The event is an opportunity for people to see the recently-restored Graving Dock Lock and the newly-discovered granite rails at Ventiford Basin.
Torbay Amateur Radio Society will have an exhibit alongside Stover Rangers, the RSPB, South West Wildlife and more.
As well as marking the anniversary, the event will also see the opening of the new cycle and walkway along the canal.
