Mayor of Teignmouth Cllr Fred Tooley was greeted by squally showers and strong winds when he opened the 99th bowls season at The Den on Saturday. Despite the weather, members played ten ends to accustom themselves to the green, and then enjoyed a buffet in the clubhouse.
