STAGE-STRUCK boys of a certain age, height and proximity to Plymouth’s Theatre Royal are being sought for a panto production of Peter Pan at the end of the year.

Four youngsters older than six and 4ft 8ins tall or under could be in line to play Wendy’s brothers Michael and John… provided they live within 45 minutes travelling time of the city playhouse.

The show’s executive producer, Jonathan Kiley, said: ‘This is a terrific opportunity for four local people to join us on stage at the Theatre Royal this Christmas and be part of a spectacular professional pantomime.’

Potential players should have singing and acting abilities – and prepare a monologue, poem or rhyme for any audition.

These will be held at the Theatre Royal’s Production and Learning Centre, TR2, on October 5 at 5pm.

Anyone interested in a shot at panto fun – playing alongside East Enders star Steve McFadden - should ring the theatre on 01752 267222.

‘Places at the audition are strictly limited and offered on a first come, first serve basis,’ said a theatre spokesman.

Peter Pan opens on December 15 and runs till January 13.
