A SPOOKY selection of pumpkins was on display at the Teignmouth Farmers’ Market at the weekend, alongside a variety of other eerie exhibits.

Held from 10am-2pm on the last Saturday of the month, the market offers a fine variety of the best produce Teignbridge has to offer.

Lori Reich, from Shute Farm, said: ‘It was a really successful market. We’ve got really loyal regular customers in Teignmouth. We’ve got a good mix of produce, a little bit of everything now.

‘My goal in life is to encourage people not to waste their left-over pumpkins and to make soup out of them, a little bit of candle smoke doesn’t matter. Just shove it in the oven, whir it in the blender and add some stock!’
