SOME 100 otters are to be released on Dartmoor next year to celebrate the national park’s wildlife diversity.

And visitors will be able to see the complete set – as they are all 3ft high sculptures of the elusive and publicity-shy creature.

Each one will be designed and decorated by a different artist and installed at a variety of locations across the moor. Visitors will be encouraged to follow the colourful otter trail between June and September 2017.
